Résumé

La Fondation pour la recherche sur la biodiversité (FRB) a organisé le 30 juin 2023 sa journée annuelle sur la recommandation scientifique et son cheminement, de la recherche à la décision. Au travers d’une dizaine d’interventions, cette journée a permis de dégager des pistes pour mieux appréhender les freins et leviers à l’élaboration, la prise en compte de recommandations basées sur la connaissance scientifique. Le colloque s’est tenu en trois parties interconnectées par une question transversale, titre de la journée : des recherches sur la biodiversité à la décision, quel statut pour les recommandations ? Au fil des propos, les intervenants ont discuté de ce qu’était une recommandation, de ce qui la rendait efficace et compréhensible, du processus de son élaboration, des freins à sa prise en compte.

Abstract

On June 30, 2023, the Foundation for Research on Biodiversity (FRB) organized its annual event about scientific recommendations and their way from research to decision-making. Several speakers took part in the event, which provided an opportunity to identify the obstacles and levers to the development and implementation of recommendations based on scientific knowledge. The symposium was held in three parts, interconnected by a cross-cutting question: from biodiversity research to decision-making, what status for recommendations? Over the course of the day, the speakers discussed what a recommendation is, what makes it effective and understandable, the process underlying its elaboration and the obstacles to taking them into account.
