Résumé

Dans cet article, nous abordons la question de l'interdisciplinarité (ID) et de la transdisciplinarité (TD) au travers de trois numéros récents de revues anglophones. La première se situe plutôt dans une approche managériale ; la seconde interroge philosophiquement les notions de frontières et indirectement de paradigme ; la troisième tente une mesure scientométrique de l'enjeu et se heurte à un problème de définition de l'objet. Nous concluons par quelques remarques sur les apports et les limites de chacune des trois approches, ainsi que de l'ensemble.

Abstract

In this paper we address the issue of interdisciplinarity (ID) and transdisciplinarity (TD) as dealt with in three recent issues of English-language journals. The first is a rather managerial approach; the second questions philosophically the notions of frontiers and indirectly that of paradigm; the third attemps a scientometric measure of the stake and runs into a problem of object definition. We conclude with a few remarks on the contributions and limitations of each and all of the three approaches.
