Abstract
Since September 2020 and the awarding of the Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility (SD&SR) label, the Rouen-Normandy University has been developing a research strategy focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based on the study of research project agreements and the visualization tools of social network analysis, the University is conducting a mapping of its research projects focused on the transition to identify cross-disciplinary scientific areas of expertise capable of federating its laboratories around multi-disciplinary projects. On one hand, the article aims to present the original protocol deployed and, on the other hand, to specify that an adaptation of the SDGs, which are nevertheless presented as a universal reading grid for the transition, is necessary in the context of a multidisciplinary university. Feedback from the University’s approach can provide useful methodological elements for higher education and research establishments wishing to carry out such mapping, which, in the light of recent texts and tools published by the bodies responsible for supervising research structures, is beginning to take on an increasingly injunctive character.
